Greek F-16s Over Kiti-Pervolia: Clarifications from the Defense Minister

On Thursday, Greek F-16s and a French C-130 were spotted over the Kiti-Pervolia area, causing concern among residents who mistook them for Turkish aircraft. Defense Minister Vasilis Palamas clarified that the F-16s are coming from the Paphos airbase and are performing scheduled flights. The French C-130 had departed from Larnaca Airport. He also noted that there are regular violations of Cypriot airspace by Turkish F-16s. If necessary, the Republic of Cyprus takes appropriate actions.
