Continuous Growth of the Video Game Industry in Cyprus

Cyprus ranks first in the world in terms of video game companies per capita and industry revenue. According to the Cyprus Video Game Industry Report, there are over 400 companies with revenue exceeding €3.2 billion. The industry has seen significant growth from 2019 to 2024, with a rise in both the number of companies and employees. Deputy Minister Nikodemus Damianos highlighted the sector's importance for the Cypriot economy, creating high-value jobs and fostering innovation. The goal is to position Cyprus as a technology and innovation hub in the region.
