End of Police Responsibility for Delivering ICS to Reservists

August 20, 2026

The process of delivering Individual Call Sheets (ICS) to reservist soldiers by the police is being terminated. The Police Chief, Themistocles Arnaoutis, announced that police officers will no longer be responsible for delivering these sheets. This decision follows public discussions and requests from police unions, noting the time-consuming nature of the task. For a transitional period of six months, the police will only deliver the ICS at points of civilian passage. A final solution is expected to be found by February 28.
