Cases of Dengue Fever in Cyprus

Two cases of dengue fever were recorded in Cyprus in July. The first case involved a woman with a travel history who visited the hospital after developing symptoms. A healthcare professional came into contact with her blood and was also diagnosed with the virus. Both patients have fully recovered. Dengue fever is primarily transmitted through mosquitoes, and symptoms include high fever and muscle pain.
