Delay in Project Implementation Due to Appeals

The implementation of public projects is delayed due to appeals lodged with the Review Authority for Tenders. The success rate of these appeals is only 12.8% for 2024. Often, the appellants do not pay the costs of their unsuccessful cases. The costs of projects increase as tender processes are prolonged. There is also concern that some appellants only lodge appeals to investigate their competitors.
