Increase in Divorces in Cyprus in 2024

In Cyprus, over 2,100 couples got divorced in 2024, resulting in nearly six separations per day. Many marriages ended shortly after starting, while others lasted 20 years or more. Notably, over 1,000 divorces involved couples without children. Nicosia topped the list for most divorces, followed by Limassol and Larnaca. The average length of marriages that ended in divorce was 13.2 years.
