New Teaching Arrangement in Middle Schools

Starting from the new school year, the Directorate of Secondary Education is introducing an innovative arrangement for lesson hour distribution in middle schools. Students in the first grade will study eight non-examinable subjects in one semester instead of two. This will reduce their total subjects from 15 to 11. Among the advantages are a decrease in study load and student anxiety. Additionally, teachers will have greater flexibility in their teaching.
