Financial Assistance of Up to €45,000 for Weather-Related Damages

The Cabinet approved financial assistance of up to €45,000 for damages caused by the weather event on August 29. This includes compensation for homes, business premises, vehicles, and photovoltaic systems. For uninsured homes, assistance will cover 80% of the assessed damage, up to €20,000. Damage assessments are ongoing, and further details will be available in a final report soon. The Ministry of Interior is expected to publish detailed criteria and amounts for assistance shortly.
