Rising Fuel Prices in Cyprus Due to Geopolitical Crises
September 6, 2026
Cypriots are concerned about rising fuel prices due to two military conflicts. Since March, gasoline prices have increased by 29.2 cents, while diesel rose by 45 cents per liter. Despite a government decision for tax relief, prices continue to be under pressure. The government is considering extending the reduced tax on fuel in light of the increases.
