Approval of budget for new armored vehicle for the President

The Parliament decided to release a budget of €595,000 for the purchase of a new armored vehicle for the President. Despite initial reactions, members of the DISY, DIKO, and ELAM parties voted in favor. The ALMA movement voted against, while AKEL decided to reserve its final position for later in the day. The meeting of the Finance Committee was held behind closed doors. Decisions were made in the presence of experts.
