Sentences for Two Drug Traffickers by Limassol Criminal Court

The Limassol Criminal Court sentenced two men, aged 36 and 27, to prison for possession and supply of cannabis. The 36-year-old received a five-year sentence while the 27-year-old got eight years after admitting to the charges. The court emphasized the seriousness of the offenses and the need for deterrent punishment. The defendants were found with nearly 10 kilograms of cannabis, and police intervention prevented it from reaching the market. The cases for three other defendants will be heard at a later date.
