Exploitation of Doctors' Names in Ads for Unapproved Treatments

Many well-known doctors in Cyprus are victims of name exploitation by websites promoting unapproved treatments. The president of the Cyprus Medical Association, Petros Agathangelou, stated that many doctors are unaware that their names are being used for illegal practices. There have been complaints to authorities regarding these services. Agathangelou confirmed he is taking legal action for the misuse of his name. This situation appears to be more widespread than initially thought.
