Expenditure on Feeding Conscripts: Impacts and Suggestions for Improvement

The report from the Audit Office revealed that taxpayers spend €9.5 million annually on feeding conscripts, with a large percentage preferring KΨΜ products or food outside the camp. Only 8% state their dietary needs are adequately met, while 67% consider the food service mediocre or insufficient. There were also issues with food management and storage leading to waste. Soldiers' satisfaction with meals ranges from 44.5% to 61%. Improvements are needed in the quality of the food service.
