Risk assessment for state officials

Justice Minister Kostas Fytiris has instructed the police to conduct an immediate risk assessment for ministers, deputy ministers, and commissioners following the removal of guards from former political officials. This decision came after an announcement of reducing guards starting from October 5th. There is a possibility of further reductions based on the upcoming assessment results. The evaluation will also extend to citizens who have security under certain conditions. The plan includes a reduction of guards for the residence of former President Nicos Anastasiades.
