Reduction in migrant allowances and irregular arrivals

Expenditure on migrant allowances has significantly decreased from 49 million euros to 12 million euros. Irregular arrivals in 2026 reached 968 compared to 11,920 in 2022. New asylum applications also dropped from 15,154 in 2022 to 1,135 in 2026. The Ministry of Migration showcased success in return processes and the upgrading of information systems. The situation has changed significantly over the past few years.
