Death of 79-Year-Old Following Traffic Accident in Nicosia

79-year-old Kostas Papadopoulos from Nicosia passed away today after 20 days in the ICU. He was involved in a traffic collision on September 5, 2026. He was driving on Nikis Avenue when he collided with a 19-year-old driver. He was transported to Nicosia General Hospital with serious injuries. Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
