Measures Against Turkish Nationals and Companies in Cyprus

The Republic of Cyprus is advancing legislation that will allow for the delisting of Turkish nationals and their companies if they threaten national security. The Registrar of Companies will have the power to delete companies without having to provide specific reasons. The legislation aims to prevent the entry of foreign interests that undermine the Republic. It has been developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy, Commerce, and Industry. This initiative follows concerns regarding the registration of companies by Turkish citizens in Cyprus.
