Update on the Proposal for Modernizing Special Education

Today, the Ministry of Education's proposal for Special Education is being presented to the Cabinet. This proposal includes updating the legislation and introducing individualized programs for children. The aim is to provide diplomas to all children attending general schools. The proposal also schedules professional development for educators and stricter timelines for processes related to Special Education. These changes are intended to improve education for children with special needs in Cyprus.
