President Christodoulides on the Republic of Cyprus and Reunification

President Nikos Christodoulides reaffirmed his commitment to restart negotiations and resolve the Cypriot issue during the 66th anniversary of the declaration of the Republic of Cyprus. He emphasized that ending the occupation is his main priority and that he will not engage in actions that create artificial progress. Additionally, he expressed gratitude to the heroes of EOKA. While it is a significant day, thoughts also go to those suffering from the consequences of the Turkish invasion. The people of Cyprus, despite challenges, have managed to rebuild their country.
