Retirement of 977 Public Employees with Total Severance of €113.3 Million

In 2027, 977 public employees will retire, receiving a total of €113.3 million in severance payments. The average compensation for each departing employee will be around €116,000. Compared to this year, the amount has increased by €12 million. Over the last ten years, the state has paid a total of €1 billion in severance payments. The retirees include public servants, educators, and members of the security forces.
