New Initiatives for Supporting Cancer Patients

President Nikos Christodoulides announced two new measures for supporting cancer patients during the Pink Figures March. The first initiative is to provide a monthly allowance to vulnerable patients, specifically for breast cancer, during treatment and for 12 months after. The second measure includes free transportation for patients from remote areas to oncology centers. The President emphasized the importance of a holistic approach to addressing cancer care. A special mention was made of Stella Kyriakidou, a symbol of the cancer movement in Cyprus.
