Second Payment Round for Affected Depositors

The second round of payments for the affected depositors of the former Laiki Bank is expected to be distributed in the coming weeks. A total of €28.7 million will be allocated from the National Solidarity Fund budget for 2026 to beneficiaries who were left out of previous payments. The application platform will reopen for those approved to submit the necessary details. The budget for the Fund in 2026 is set at €50 million, with reserves of €189.1 million from 2025.
