Readiness of Pediatric Department at Makarios Hospital for Seasonal Infections

The Pediatric Department of Makarios Hospital is prepared to handle seasonal infections. Currently, 16 children are hospitalized, half of whom have viral or bacterial infections. The Director of the Department, Elena Papamichael, states that the situation is under control. Measures have been taken to ensure bed availability to effectively manage emerging needs. Collaboration with other hospitals is also in place for additional support if necessary.
