Referral to Trial for Sexual Abuse of a Minor

A man has been referred to the Criminal Court for the sexual abuse of his underage sister-in-law, 10 years after the events occurred. The accused was arrested abroad and brought before the Cypriot justice system following the victim's complaint. The allegation reveals the horrifying nature of the events, as the perpetrator was the husband of the victim's sister. At present, the accused is being held until the trial, scheduled for November.
