Increase in fuel prices in Cyprus
October 7, 2026
Fuel prices in Cyprus are on the rise, surpassing levels seen before the reduction of the special consumption tax. Since February, the price of gasoline has increased by 43 cents per liter and diesel by 60 cents. Without the subsidy, prices would be even higher. The state collects 40% of the fuel price through taxes and fees. These increases significantly affect consumers and the prices of other products.
