Initiative for Unity in DISY
October 7, 2026
Anita Dimitriou, Averof Neofytou, and Giorgos Pamboridis are three key candidates for the Democratic Rally (DISY) presidential elections. Pamboridis is encouraging collaboration among the three to support a single candidate together. He believes that the party's current introspection and the participation of three candidates could harm DISY. He has stated that he is ready to withdraw his candidacy if there is any indication of unity. Efforts to mediate have been made in the past but have not been successful.
