October 14, 2026
The Ethics Committee is investigating a complaint about unsportsmanlike behavior by Cypriot shooters during a European championship event in Attica. The shooters left the competition area in protest against a referee's decision, which led to their team's disqualification. Relevant authorities, including the Cyprus Sports Organization, have taken on the investigation. The president of the CSO mentioned that the inquiry has already begun and the findings will be sent for further action. There are concerns that this incident could negatively impact Cypriot sports and the country as a whole.
