Study Reveals Issues in Nicosia's Public Transport System

The audit by the Audit Office reveals that public buses in Nicosia are losing ground to private vehicles. Approximately 63% of respondents stated they would not use the bus again. Although bus travel is cheaper in some cases, the time and comfort provided by cars make them a more appealing mode of transport. Additionally, there are issues with bus stops and the information given to passengers. This could negatively affect the public transport system's image.
