Evaluation of Companies for LNG Terminal in Vasilikos Begins

The evaluation process for eight companies interested in constructing an LNG terminal in Vasilikos has begun, with a target to finalize the contract before summer 2027. The Chairman of DEFA mentioned that the selection criteria include the companies' experience and financial reliability, and that the interest shown is satisfactory. The interested companies have not yet received technical specifications for submitting bids. The deadline for pre-selection is set for the end of 2026. The aim is to ensure the best price-quality ratio for the project.
