Extension for Tax Return Submission Without Penalties

Tax returns for the tax year 2025 must be submitted by November 30 without interest or penalties. The regular deadline is October 31, but an extension is provided to encourage tax compliance. It is expected that 345 thousand taxpayers will file in 2025, up from 245 thousand in 2016. There are also higher fines, reaching €150, starting from November 1. This decision was made following requests from taxpayers for additional time.
