Transfer of Bodies to Refrigeration Container Due to Morgue Maintenance

At the General Hospital of Paphos, bodies were temporarily transferred to a special refrigeration container due to ongoing work on the cold storage units. This container was placed next to the morgue with the involvement of a porter from the Accident and Emergency Department. This decision has raised hygiene concerns and reactions from the staff. A representative from OKYpY stated that the work will last about four days and that the container meets all necessary specifications. The tasks include disinfection and repair of the alarm system.
