PASYD's Legal Action for Conversion of Fixed-term Employees to Permanent Status

October 22, 2026

PASYD is planning a legal action to convert 1,500 fixed-term employees into permanent positions. These employees have more than 30 months of service and feel unfairly treated by the Ministry of Finance's decision. The General Secretary of PASYD states that this change will not incur costs to the state as they already fill vacant positions. PASYD has also partnered with law firms for legal support in this matter. This move aims to secure the employees' rights.
