Plan for New Fast Charging Points for Electric Vehicles in Cyprus

The Ministry of Transport plans to develop 94 new electric vehicle fast charging points in Cyprus by 2028, with an estimated cost of €10 million. This will include 76 points for light vehicles and 18 for heavy vehicles. Locations for installation include urban hubs and selected areas. Over the years 2026-2028, at least 16, 48, and 30 points will be installed respectively. The goal is to cover the road network with modern charging infrastructure.
