Planning of the 'Red Flag' platform for the prevention of violence against women

The government is planning the prevention platform 'Red Flag' to combat crimes against women. This platform will identify suspicious incidents that pose a risk of violence and alert the relevant services. The expansion of the 'Women's House' initiative and the establishment of a shelter in Larnaca were also announced. The Minister of Justice mentioned that the platform has a budget of €25,000. The implementation of electronic monitoring for victims is not feasible due to cost and complexity.
