Life Expectancy and Health Challenges for Women in Cyprus

In Cyprus, women's life expectancy reaches 85.6 years, higher than the WHO European Region average. However, nearly 33% of women have experienced partner violence, and 47% do not engage in sufficient physical activity. While cardiovascular health data is positive, cancer rates are close to the European average. Women's health should not only be evaluated by lifespan but also by quality of life. The WHO report highlights the need for better access to healthcare across all stages of life.
