The Church of Cyprus is facing a critical moment as Bishop Tychikos has been summoned to the Holy Synod to address issues concerning him. There are concerns about a letter sent to priests encouraging them to leave the Church and form a new one. Supporters of Tychikos continue to reject the Synod's decisions. An emerging development involves a priest conducting services in a private home linked to the ongoing dispute. The Synod is closely monitoring the situation.
