Wages in Cyprus and Pay Disparities
October 27, 2026
Average salaries in Cyprus are increasing, but many workers earn less than €1,500 per month. One in three workers falls below this amount, while 75% earn less than €3,000. Significant disparities exist between Cypriots and foreigners, with nearly 50% of foreigners earning under €1,500. Despite wage increases, the pay gap between men and women continues, although women's salaries are rising faster. Overall wage growth is showing signs of slowing, influenced by inflation.
