Internal Disagreements in DISY Ahead of Elections

The internal crisis within the DISY continues as Haris Georgiades stated that he would not support Averof Neophytou if he is chosen for the party's nomination. Dimitris Dimitriou, the party's parliamentary spokesperson, disagreed with Georgiades' stance, stating that public comments by party members do not help with party unity. He emphasized the need to respect the members' decisions and consider the party's cohesion. Additionally, he mentioned that members should be able to judge who they want as a candidate. Essentially, they must work towards winning the elections.
