Kronos Natural Gas Field Set for First Sale in 2028

The first sale of natural gas from the Kronos field is expected in 2028. Eni plans to conduct two more drilling operations to identify additional quantities. Contracts worth up to $1.8 billion have been signed for the development of the field. President Christodoulides stated that the agreement boosts confidence in Cyprus's energy prospects. The project will contribute to Europe's energy security.
