Pick-Up Issues at All-Day Schools

Many parents are complaining about their inability to pick up their children earlier from the all-day schools, which negatively impacts their children's developmental programs. This issue was discussed in the Education Committee in Parliament and affects parents from various schools. Parents are requesting the option for earlier pick-up times to attend therapy sessions like speech and occupational therapies. However, the Ministry stressed that the pick-up times cannot be easily changed. A suggestion was made to offer an additional pick-up time at 2:30 PM starting next year.
