Crucial Meeting Between Archbishop and Metropolitan Tychikos
October 28, 2026
The meeting between Archbishop George and Metropolitan Tychikos is crucial for resolving ongoing issues. The Archbishop is open to receiving Tychikos and hosting him at the Archdiocese. However, for Tychikos' reinstatement, he needs to sign a letter of repentance and withdraw legal appeals. The Holy Synod is closely monitoring the situation and does not intend to disrupt the process. The success of the agreement depends on Tychikos' compliance with the requests of the Holy Synod.
