Planning for the Student Dormitories at the University of Cyprus
October 29, 2026
The University of Cyprus is preparing to announce an architectural competition for the second phase of its student dormitories. These dormitories are essential to support students, as the housing crisis affects many families. In about four years, 900 beds will be available, with a future plan to expand to 1,900. The new phase will include rooms for students with disabilities, which are currently limited. The rector stated that the necessary procedures are progressing to meet the students' needs.
