Changes to Public Employees' Working Hours and Leave Policies

The public service is promoting changes regarding the working hours and leave policies for employees. Workers with reduced hours will be entitled to half a day of rest leave, corresponding to specific hours of absence. These regulations apply to parents, caregivers, and individuals with disabilities. Employees can be allowed to be absent for personal reasons only in exceptional cases. Electronic recording of employees' arrival and departure times is required.
