In the U.S. midterm elections, Greek-American candidates from both the Democratic and Republican parties are vying for political positions. Chris Pappas, a native of New Hampshire, is running for the Senate and focuses on issues related to Cyprus and Greece. Similarly, in Florida, Gus Bilirakis is fighting for re-election while actively addressing matters concerning Turkey. This election has significant political implications for the future direction of the Democrats. The cost of living is a central campaign issue for both candidates.
