Creation of a 5th Assistant Chief Position in the Police

The Police is considering the creation of a fifth assistant chief position to improve efficiency and meet the needs of the department. Currently, there are four positions, with two becoming vacant soon due to retirements. The promotion process for sergeants is temporarily blocked due to an officer's absence abroad. This also affects the filling of the new assistant chief positions. The determination of promotions will need to be postponed until the issue with the annulled promotions is resolved.
