ETIFA is unable to charter the floating gas unit 'Prometheus' due to specific technical and operational requirements. Despite interest from abroad, relocating the vessel to another terminal is complex and may require additional interventions. The daily charter rates for similar units range from approximately €66,800 to €115,800. The presence of 'Prometheus' in Malaysia incurs a monthly cost of about €345,000 for ETIFA. The Minister of Energy noted that any potential charter requires careful assessment and suitable infrastructure.
