Developments in CMP Investigations for Bone Discovery in Larnaca
November 6, 2026
In the occupied Larnaca, bones were found during the construction of a hotel, but the contractor ordered them to be covered and work to continue. The Committee on Missing Persons (CMP) is trying to locate the site to allow excavations for the identification of the bones. Although the initial construction stopped, the new management of the building intends to cooperate with the CMP. A similar case involves eight soldiers believed to be buried in a well, which the CMP is looking to investigate. GPR technology is planned to detect hidden locations.
