Investigation into Police Protection for the Commissioner of the Presidency

The Audit Office of the Republic is investigating the process followed for providing police protection to the Commissioner of the Presidency, Marios Haritsiotis. It requested information from the Cyprus Police regarding the criteria used to approve the protection in September. The investigation also includes the use of a service vehicle by Haritsiotis, who allegedly continued to use it after finishing his term as Minister of Justice.
